How long before you see visible results from strength training?
Strength improves within two to three weeks, mostly through better coordination rather than new muscle. Visible changes usually take eight to twelve weeks and depend heavily on starting point and body fat. Other people typically notice around three to four months. What people underestimate is how much visible change depends on nutrition rather than training — muscle gained is slow and modest, and how visible it is depends on what is over it. The changes that arrive first and matter most are ones you feel rather than see: stairs, carrying, sleeping, energy.

Three to four months before others notice is worth knowing up front. Expecting it at week four ends a lot of attempts.
Stairs getting easier was the first thing I noticed and it kept me going through the invisible months.
