LDL came back high despite training 5 days a week. How is this possible?
Got a full lipid profile done because my company insurance covers it. Total cholesterol 228, LDL 160, HDL 42. Doctor said "borderline high, watch your diet". I train 5 days a week. My diet is chicken, eggs, rice, whey, peanut butter. I don't smoke, I drink maybe twice a month. My dad has high cholesterol so maybe genetics. But it's frustrating to do everything "right" and still see this. Has anyone in their early 30s dealt with this? Did diet changes actually move the number or did you end up on medication?
