My husband's cholesterol tablets vs my mother-in-law's kashayam. How do I make him take both seriously?
My husband is 65 and has had high cholesterol for ten years. He takes his tablet when he remembers, which is about four days a week. He takes my late mother-in-law's kashayam recipe every single morning without fail because "amma said". I have nothing against the kashayam. It is only pepper, cumin, and a few leaves. But the doctor has told him clearly that the tablet is not optional. Wives of stubborn men, how did you handle this? I have tried keeping the tablet next to the kashayam glass. He drinks the kashayam and forgets the tablet.
