My wife works in Dubai, I am in Kochi with our daughter. We are a good team but not a good couple any more

She took the Dubai job two years ago for the money, and it was the right decision. Our daughter's school, the house loan, her parents' medical bills, all of it is handled because of her salary. We speak every day. We coordinate everything. We are excellent co-parents. But when she comes home for two weeks every three months, we are polite with each other like guests. The last visit we did not argue once and I found that more worrying than an argument. Couples who have lived apart for work for years, is there a way back to being a couple, or does this become the permanent shape of the marriage?
