Sleeping at 11 instead of 1 am has done more for my sugar than I expected
Being a banker, I used to finish dinner late, watch the news, then check office emails and sleep at 12:30 or 1. Morning readings were always higher than expected even with a proper diet. My doctor suggested that poor sleep also raises sugar. I did not believe it but I tried sleeping by 11 for one month. Fasting readings have come down by 15 to 20 points on average. I am mentioning it because nobody tells you this part. Everyone talks about food and walking. Nobody says that going to bed at a decent hour is also part of the treatment.
