The morning temple walk with the ladies has become my therapy
Six of us, all between 58 and 70, walk to the Perur temple and back every morning at 6. It started as exercise after my retirement. It has become the best hour of my day. We talk about everything. Knees, children abroad, television serials, whose daughter-in-law is troubling whom, and sometimes the things we cannot tell our families. One of the ladies lost her husband last year and I honestly think the walk is what kept her going. I am writing this because my granddaughter showed me this app and said people share such things here. If you are retired and sitting at home, find your walking group. It is not only for the legs.
